H-FARM International School and Consulting, Roncade (I) — Teacher Business Management, Start-Up Lab, and Economics (temporary contract)

AUGUST 2022 – PRESENT

Delivered the IB & IGCSE Economics course in MYP, the Business Management course in the DP International Baccalaureate Program and ran the Start-Up Labs. Introduced behavioural economics into MYP curriculum, classroom games in economics, and develop Short SIMs. Organize Problem-Based Learning activities and introduced Perusall for online discussions and JASP for statistical analysis. Mentored 19 students regarding their university applications. Courses: Business Management, Economics, and Enterprise / Entrepreneurship.

Provided leadership for the management team of a university with more than 1,000 employees, 9,000 registered students and a 220 Ha campus. Reduced operating costs by 15%, balanced budget and obtained unqualified, clean external audit.  Increased grant revenue and revenue from the industry with 3,000%.  Fundraising with major private and corporate donors. Oversaw 13 major infrastructure programs, and opened the first satellite campus. The first university in the world with internet for O3B satellite system http://bit.ly/O3Bfirst. Responsible for institutional accreditation within the national quality framework, and program accreditation for business, architecture and engineering programs. Led various academic quality initiatives, opened 2 new programs (Executive MBA & Certificate on Student-Centred Teaching), and oversaw accreditation efforts.  Taught project management module in EMBA. Signed 30+ international agreements (7 with India, 3 with China). Participated in 4 Erasmus Mundus / Plus programs. Attended  12 international higher education conferences, of which two Times Higher Education. Co-Chair of National Rectors’ Conference and Pacific Islands Universities Research Network (PIURN). Responsible for a portfolio of more than €45 million for the School of Business & Economics. Increased EU grant revenue 300%. Followed EU policy and implemented public affairs strategy. Organized university’s first European Researchers’ Night. Provided input for re-accreditation report for AMBA, EQUIS and AACSB accreditation, and re-accreditation visits. Obtained 24 European grants in FP7 & Horizon 2020 and LLL programs for research technology and innovation. Member of the University’s India and Turkey Teams.  Developed and deliver semester and summer courses on Environmental Economics and Policy.
